When entering names the order does not matter, so entering "John Smith" or "Smith John" will both work in the same way.
The wildcard * can be used in place of a sequence of characters. For example, entering will* in the search field will find all entries beginning with will like william and williamson.
Additional search fields include phone number, position title, address, fax number.
You may review the structure of individual government organizations or the whole of government.
1. To view an individual organization's structure - From the Home Page, click on the organization that you would like to view and the structure will display. Continue clicking to drill-down through the structure.
2. To view the structure of the whole government or detail for an individual department - At the top of the Home Page, click on Indexes and then select Government of Saskatchewan Organization Structure. Then select the individual Department, Crown Corporation, Agency, Board or Commission.
This directory is a listing of provincial government departments, Crown corporations, agencies, boards and commissions, organizational structure (divisions, branches, etc.), and contact information (inquiry lines, addresses, facsimile numbers). It also contains public information related to government employees such as position titles and telephone numbers. The information is very similar to the information available in the printed version of the Saskatchewan Government Directory.
This site is a directory service only. We have no specific information on legislation or individual programs administered by the various departments, Crown corporations or agencies. Actually, it only means that the entry is not available on our site. A number of departments restrict certain phone numbers (eg. social workers, judges), so it may only mean that the phone number is not available. If you have additional questions, send a note to the GTDS Administrator.
Did you try using the search engine to find it? You can do searches for organizational units, as well as people, with our search engine. If there are still no matches, you might want to try a more general search criteria. If you have additional questions, send a note to the GTDS Administrator.
Use the department org code to narrow your search. For example, if you would like to find all the Johnson's in Saskatchewan Property Management, type "SPM Johnson" in the search window.
The database is updated regularly by contacts within the departments, Crown corporations and agencies. Each organization is responsible for the currency of their directory entries.
